Thomas Abbey is a versatile and outstanding performer says Frank Nuttall.
The Hearts head coach was in Cape Coast last Sunday to watch Ghana beat Nigeria 4-1 in the finals of the 2017 WAFU CUP.
Hearts captain Abbey played a key role for Ghana in the tournament though he played at left back instead of his preferred position in attack.
But coach Nuttall insists Abbey’s versatility means he has never let down his club or country.
“I have to say Abbey has played a number of positions for both Hearts of Oak and local Black Stars and he has never let his club or country down,” the Hearts head coach told accraheartsofoaksc.com
“He is a very versatile and outstanding performer and he did very well [for Ghana in the tournament].”
