Hearts Thrash Hasaacas
Date: 2006-11-06
Visiting Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday beat Sekondi Hasaacas 3-1 in a Onetouch Premier League match played at the Sekondi Gyandu. After several unsuccessful attempts at goal, Moses Andoh opened the scores for Hearts in the 36th minute.

Andoh displaced about three Hasaacas defenders and shot the ball into a empty net after sidestepping goalkeeper, Joseph Addo, in the penalty area.

The goal unsettled Hasaacas and Hearts did not allow them to put their house in order as they kept on attacking.

In the 58th, Hasaacas gave in to the pressure as Ekow Ghansah scored the second goal for Hearts of Oak.

Hasaacas fought back and reduced the tally in the 63rd minute through Paul Aidoo.

Hearts redoubled their efforts which were rewarded in the 68th minute, when Ablade Morgan registered the third goal for the former African champions.
