Accra Hearts of Oak U20 side Auroras Football Club were left frustrated at the Tesano Police Depot Park on Friday after dropping points at home against Kingdom FC.
The young Phobians had taken a deserved lead through in-form striker Ahmed Tijani in the first half but their lead was cut short just after the break with the center referee pointing to the spot when the ball clearly bounced off the chest of an Auroras defender.
Kingdom FC converted from the spot to pull level but they pushed men back and made it hard for Auroras to breach their defense again.
The draw means Auroras have lost their grip of top spot but they will still have slim hopes alive with three games to end the season.
