Laryea Kingston has spoken of his joy at joining Hearts of Oak and aims at winning laurels with the Phobians yet again. His arrival at the club makes him one of the latest signings to be lured to the club.
The 31-year-old joined Hearts as a free agent during the second transfer window, and is already roaring to go as he hopes to make an immediate impact at the club. The midfielder says he is proud of his achievements with other clubs, but is looking forward to realising further ambition with Hearts. "l'm happy to have found an opportunity like this one, to join players like these, to be part of a club like this, and to have the opportunity to do something great together", Laryea said. "I know some of the players, not only professionally but also personally such as Sammy Adjei, Laud Quartey and a few others. I think this opportunity didn't just happen by chance. I hope not. Rather, I know that we will do great things together for the club", he said. Laryea says it is time to move on to rejoin Hearts and achieve a mark with the club, though he enjoyed his time playing for all of the clubs he had previously served. "It has been a privilege to play for a club like Hearts once again. I think this is a good time to take the opportunity to thank everyone, especially the CEO who gave me this opportunity. I've explained the reasons why I'm here. I just think I reached a time in my career when both professionally and personally, it was time for a change. I just felt this deep down. I got the chance to make a change and to come back to a club like Hearts, which is a great club that also has the possibility to win things, he said complimenting the phobians.
