Team Hearts of Oak will further boost their performance and position at the summit of the Premiership league log, as they play as guests to relegation threatened Bechem United.

Coming from a background of winning its last game by three goals to two last Sunday, Hearts of Oak look set to keep the heat on leaders Kotoko who are only on the top by virtue of superior goals aggregate, also have a tricky duel against free-scoring Liberty Professionals tomorrow at the Accra sports stadium. The importance of tomorrow's match cannot be underestimated, judging from the rigid nature of the league and life at the top, where any dropped point becomes vital in the positioning of the top four teams who, on weekly basis, oust each other occasionally. But having said that, the Phobians who seem to have found new tidings in the New Year as they scored their first-ever three goals in the season last Sunday, will build upon that to demolish their hosts who are finding life in the premiership very challenging and hard to take. With only 10 points out of 13 matches, Bechem United are in such a desperate situation and caution much be the watch word for the Hearts team, which will have to begin their away trips this year with a convincing win, thereby grabbing all three points. Coach Vucicevic Nebojsa will have the full complement of the entire team as they have recorded no major injuries in the team in the build-up to the game. The likes of Uriah Asante, Mahatma Otoo, Douglas Nkrumah and Sammy Adjei will have to make the club proud again, having started 2012 brightly. As he himself has mentioned, anything short of the total six points available in the next two matches will be unacceptable, hence his decision to deploy the best of arsenals at his disposal to make sure that the entire team comes out tops in the long run. The era of praying for other teams to beat our opponents for us is gone. This is the time we must make hay whilst the sun shines and that will be very good for our title aspirations this season. The players did very well on Sunday and scored three goals for the first time this season, and that is very good for us, he said. But I'm very concerned with the goals we conceded and we must guard against that, he continued. Languishing at the 15th position of the league table, Bechem United will come firing from all cylinders in a bid to save them from early relegation. The likes of veteran skipper Peter Ofori Quaye among other players, are likely to make life very difficult for the Hearts defenders. But trust Nebojsa and the rest of the technical team to come out with the best of arsenals to make sure that, this new-found rhythm does fizzle out into thin air. One thing is certain and that is, Hearts must return to Accra with all three points tomorrow to boost their chances ahead of the last game of the first round against Lions on Sunday.
