Hearts of Oak, so desperate to claw back the glory days of just a few years ago have signed some players to complement the existing stock in camp, as the phobians march to confront the second round of the GLO Premiership.
With 24 hours to arrive at the deadline for registration for the second window, the phobians have signed Mohammed Tetteh Nortey, regularized the documents of Burkinabe Soulama Ahmed, former Asante Kotoko stars Haruna Abdul Ganiyu and Edward Affum ,as well as Iddrisu Moro formerly of Real Tamale United. Aside the above, Accra Hearts played a fast one to beat other interesting premier league clubs for the signature of Liberty Professionals striker James Abban who is sharper than the razor when leading attack. Also registered are the resurrected duo of Godwin Quashiga and Kofi Abanga, Bechem Chelsea's Sadat Karim a ball juggler in his own elements and Richard Oti formerly of Liberty Professionals who was transferred to Nigerian side Etoile Sahel. Hearts also registered Opoku Fofie from Sandy FC a division two side and Philip Azumah who was initially injured during a trial match at Pobiman, but has recuperated and is therefore in fine fettle. The phobians state that as at press time yesterday, officials were in the process of landing two big catches and by the grace of heaven, other things being equal Hearts will ride the storm in such a manner that come Match Day 30, the phobians would be home and dry.
